Tricia's Travel Tips started with my "Grand European Tour" in August 2007. It was quite an adventure! Afterwards I decided to expand the beach portrait concept to "vacation portraits". It was the start of something special. In my blog, I have personal tips and adventures. I hope it inspires you to leave the country and travel around this wonderful wide world we live in! Merci! Lake District in Austria
Greetings !
After I danced on the Danube I headed over to the Lake District close to Halstatt. It was so amazingly gorgous. It was getting dark so I found a place near a a pristine alpine lake. So I took a lovely walk the next morning and then went down to Halstatt.
I spent the next night at Halstatt. It looked like town from a movie set. Great shopping and a quiet lake. They had great hiking and the salt mines.
Then the next day I drove through small mountain towns to Salzburg. It was raining so I didn't stop. I got a hotel room near the alpine lift. The rain stopped so I walked around Salzburg and found the jack pot store. A sheet music store that had a whole shelf of sheet music.
Pic captions: the lake photo is from the Lake Distict a couple of hours driving time from Salzburg. The other one is the B&B I stayed at in Halstatt
