Tricia's Travel Tips started with my "Grand European Tour" in August 2007. It was quite an adventure! Afterwards I decided to expand the beach portrait concept to "vacation portraits". It was the start of something special. In my blog, I have personal tips and adventures. I hope it inspires you to leave the country and travel around this wonderful wide world we live in! Merci! Artist Colony on the hill in Paris
Bonjour ! It was a bit rainy today. Not too bad though. I went to the top of the hill in Paris. Montemartre (I will look up the spelling later). It is a place that the artists (writers, painters, photographers :) stayed for the cheap rent. It was the bohmein part. Very edgy and experimental. There is a great view of the city up here. You can see all over Paris. There is an open air market area for the painters (you can get your portrait painted) or buy an original work of art. There are cafes and parks. It's just wonderful.
Then I went over to another park called Monceau. It has Roman styled collums and a beautiful bridge. I think it would be great for portraits.
Then Lisa, her friend and nephew went out to eat at an Indian resturant in the Latin Quarter. This is the best part of Paris in the evening. Thank you Lisa I had a great time !
PS) I think I can add some photos to this blog now. I will attempt the videos either in the morning or on Sunday.
